Hello,

I would like to know if the BD3 interface is designed to work with water cooled eddy curent dynos (image attached) where the coil resistance is from 1 ohm to 20 ohm.

Usually this dynos work with 10A max and 300v.

Thanks

Andrea

Yes. BD3 supports this kind of eddy brake.

Hello Ronald,

we have a BD3 and would like to integrate it  in our Dyno.

Reading BD3 Manual, for the CAN configuration it is required the BD3 Tool which I suppose can be executed on a windows 11 PC.

Where is located the download link?

Thanks

Andrea

BD3 Tool is a part of Dyno2 software that runs on my dyno controllers. I don't have a standalone version of it.

I guess you want to limit the maximum current in the BD3? In your case the easiest way would be just not to send PWM or CAN message which request current that is too high for your brake.
