Description
Kit includes:
- Timer relay to set precharging time
- ABB ESB contactor
- Power resistors with DIN rail adapter and wires
DIN rail not included
Kit is compatible only with 3-phase 400VAC L-L grid.
Timer relay typically should be set to 30s delay
Wiring schematic:
For thin connection on the schematic, 0.5mm² wires can be used. Thick connection should use a cross-section adequate to the required current.
One kit is used to supply multiple BD3 devices.
Model selection for typical 3phase 400VAC supply and 192V absorbers:
kit current > 0.5 * absorber current * number of absorbers
