The infrared temperature sensor can be used to monitor high temperatures without contact with hot parts. The example use cases are:
- Eddy current absorber coils temperature monitoring
- Eddy current absorber rotor temperature monitoring
- Vehicle tire temperature monitoring
Monitoring these temperatures can save you from absorber damage or vehicle tire failure.

Connection to analog input on DC series controller:
- Black, blue – Analog input GND (-)
